BRS Electrical is an experienced electrical engineering consultants and drafting services firm located in Brisbane, Australia. We service clients throughout Australia and internationally. We are an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assured Company and under a certified quality framework. We also have a strong focus on safety, maintaining a current AS4801/ISO 18001 Certified Occupational health and safety system.
Our History
Established in 2007 as the successor of Bob Rudge Services Pty Ltd, BRS has enjoyed the privilege of successfully assisting clients across Australia and internationally by providing reliable specialised Electrical Engineering services.
Bob Rudge Services grew from its humble beginnings in 1988 when it was first engaged by the UTAH Mining Group to produce electrical drawings for its projects at Goonyella Riverside and Peak Downs Mine in Queensland.
Over the years as the UTAH Mining Group transitioned to BHP and now BMA, so too did the relationship with Bob Rudge services. As a result, today BRS continues to deliver proven results at the Peak Downs, Goonyella Riverside, Gregory Crinum and Blackwater mines operated by BMA.

From its base in Murarrie, Brisbane Queensland, BRS continues to build upon the strong foundations laid down by its predecessor.
As evidence of our continued commitment to our clients and the mining industry, BRS continues to work with BMA and several other mining companies in the Bowen Basin.
The fact that BRS is growing and 80% of our work comes from repeat business is testament to our reliability and commitment to our clients.
Over nearly 20 years of operation BRS has expanded into a range of industries most notably
Oil and gas with a strong focus on combustible and flammable liquids, storage and handling installations for IOR, BP, Caltex, and Shell Company Australia.
As well as Water and waste water industries with projects for many of the water utilities and operators including Wide Bay Water, SEQ Water, Urban Utilities and Sun Water.
Specialised Knowledge & Expertise
All BRS engineering staff hold current competencies for design, classification and inspection of electrical installations in hazardous areas.
